FUTURE ATHLETIC TRAINERS -
We welcome you to attend the 2010 Athletic Training Winter Sport Workshop. This workshop is for high school students and is intended to teach basic athletic training skills. The focus will be on anatomy and injury prevention techniques for the winter sport athlete. This will be reinforced through functional rehabilitation and conditioning.

The workshop will include both lectures and group discussions. Interactive lab sessions will be used to complement the lectures and allow participants to practice taping, splinting, bracing and specific exercises. The Ohio State University Athletic Training staff will facilitate all lectures, discussions and labs . This format will allow for direct contact with full-time Division I Certifi ed Athletic Trainers.

A one-day workshop will also be offered in the Spring of 2010 and will focus on athlete assessment tools, nutrition and rehabilitative protocols for common orthopedic injuries. More information on this workshop will be published in early 2010. Go Bucks,
