Donald Williams is in his eighth season and second tenure as a San Jose State University men’s basketball assistant coach. He spent the 2003 and 2004 seasons with the Spartans.

Williams first joined the coaching staff after five seasons as the boys varsity assistant coach at San Leandro (Calif.) High School.

The 1995 graduate of California State University - Hayward played two seasons of basketball for the Pioneers after transferring from Porterville College.  

Williams was born on October 17, 1970, in Pontiac, Mich. He and his wife, LaShonda, are the parents of two sons, Justin and Jalen.
