Matt Witty is the Associate Athletics Director for Business and Finance. He assumed his current position in July 2010 and is the sports supervisor for men’s and women’s soccer and oversees events, facilities and equipment services.

Witty first joined the Spartans in 2001 as a business office employee. He was the Assistant Ticket Manager from June 2002 until April 2004. After working at Marshall University and the University of Wisconsin in ticket operations, he returned to San Jose State in 2005 as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations.
 
In June 2006, Witty accepted the position of Athletics Business Manager. He was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Business and Finance in July 2008.

The 2001 Ball State University graduate also has a master’s degree in sports marketing from Marshall University. He is a member of College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA), Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).

He and his wife, Kathy, and daughter Claire, reside in Campbell, Calif.
