Theodore "Ted" Gore (At-Large)
Successful oil producer and native of Wichita, has consistently befriended the athletic and academic programs of Wichita State University for decades. The Gore Family Scholarship is awarded to a high school senior each year for academic excellence. He was an influential force behind the construction and realization of Henry Levitt Arena; has substantially contributed to the athletic scholarship program and other caucses which have enabled the athletic program to achieve its present prominence. Inducted, 1981.
