Marguerite Keeley (Basketball, 1975-77)

Keeley played two years at Wichita State shattering the school record book after being selected an All-American at Independence (Kan.) Community College.

  • a 6-1 center, she established 14 school records at WSU, most of which still remained at the time of her induction in the Hall of Fame.

  • Keeleyıs 22.4 per game scoring average in 1976-77 was a Shocker record.

  • she also lettered in tennis and softball at Wichita State.

  • following graduation, Keeley played in the Womenıs Professional Basketball League with both Milwaukee and Minnesota.

  • she was a WPBL All-Star who averaged 17.6 points per game. Inducted, 1986.
