     Molly Haas came to JMU in August 2007 as a Predoctoral Intern specializing in sport psychology at the Counseling & Student Development Center (CSDC). Originally from Harrisburg, PA, Ms. Haas received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with concentrations in Cultural Anthropology and Athletic Coaching from Millersville University in 2001. She received her Master’s degree in clinical Psychology from IUP in 2005.


     Ms. Haas will graduate with her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in December 2008. For her dissertation, she conducted research on the effects of clinical hypnosis on reaction time with JMU athletes.

At JMU currently, Ms. Haas divides her time between her responsibilities at the CSDC and working with individual athletes and teams.


     On a personal note, Ms. Haas is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, particularly the Phillies. She also enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and playing on her indoor soccer team.
