STATESBORO, Ga. - The kickoff time for Georgia Southern's game against Alabama has been set for a 2 p.m. EST start and it will air on Pay-Per-View inside the state of Alabama and on ESPN Game Plan outside the state. The other 10 Georgia Southern games' start times have already been released and can be found on GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com.

The Saturday, November 19th contest will be the final regular season game for Georgia Southern and will be played a week before the start of the FCS playoffs on November 26th. The contest against USA Today's number-two ranked team in the FBS will be the second of two-straight road games to finish out the regular season. GSU's final home game of 2011 will be played on November 5th against The Citadel at 2 p.m.

Sports Network/Fathead.com Tabs Eagles Fourth in FCS Preseason Poll

The SportsNetwork/Fathead.com FCS Preseason Poll selected Georgia Southern fourth in its annual preseason poll. The Eagles followed defending champion Eastern Washington, Appalachian State and William & Mary.

GSU was the second Southern Conference team selected in the poll and was one of three SoCon squads in the top-10. The conference finished tied for second with four teams selected in the top-25 poll. Wofford was selected eighth and Chattanooga 21st to round out the SoCon's picks.
