STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern Football team wrapped up its final two-a-day of Fall Camp on Wednesday with a 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. practice on the banks of "Beautiful Eagle Creek."

The defensive line returns a number of veterans from the 2010 season and looks to have another strong year. Eagle Vision caught up with Defensive Line Coach Victor Cabral after practice to discuss the defensive line and its expectations for the upcoming season.

"The expectations really have not changed from last year. We want to be the best defensive line we can possibly be. We want to work out and be extremely tough," said Coach Cabral. "Last year was a transition time for us. With all the guys returning to us, fall camp has been great. We have been able to get a lot more reps in practice."

The morning session included work on special teams at the start of practice, and the emphasis on the punt game was seen at the beginning of the afternoon session. GSU wrapped up the morning practice with full-team goal line situations. The afternoon practice was in shells and saw more team offense vs defense work along with work on the option.

The Eagles spent part of their off day on Tuesday visiting with Bulloch County Elementary School children reading books and playing games with local youth.
