Named to the WSU Baseball 25-Year Anniversary Team as the shortstop...Named a second team All-American by Collegiate Baseball in 1989...Named to the All-Midwest Regional team in 1990...Named to the all-District team in 1989...Named second team all-Valley in 1988 and 1990 and first team in 1989...Named to all-Valley Tournament team in 1988...In the Shocker career record books at the end of his career seventh in games (264), first in at bats (1,064), sixth in hits (329), sixth in runs (268), eighth in doubles (56), 11th in triples (15), 15th in RBI (208), eighth in total bases (493), fourth in stolen bases (158), 13th in walks (131), and 10th in sacrifice flies (13)...He led the NCAA in runs in 1989 with 101, while he had the best fielding percentage of any Shocker shortstop with a .958 in 1989...Also led the Shockers in stolen bases as a sophomore, junior and senior...WSU was 228-71 in his four years...Played 10 seasons in the Major Leagues with Montreal, Colorado and Boston. Inducted, 2007.
