2007 Cross Country:  Was the first Eagle to cross the finish line in all six meets during her senior season...Top time of the season came at the Auburn Invitational where she finished in 19:00.45...Finished the following week in 19:00.46 at the Furman Invitational...Finished her collegiate cross country career finishing first among all Georgia Southern runners in 11 out of her last 12 meets.

 

2006-2007: Indoor Achieved an indoor personal best and set the school record in the 3000M with a time of 10:44.02. Outdoor Helped lead Georgia Southern to the 2007 SoCon Championship. Broke her own school and personal record in the 3000M Steeplechase with a time of 11:35.24.

 

2006 Cross Country:  First Eagle past the finish line in five of six races...Improved personal best 5K time to 18:48.06, achieved at Auburn, third best time in GSU history ...Came in 21st at the FrontRunner 2 mile race (12:24)...Named to the TIAA-CREF All-Academic team by the Southern Conference.

 

2005-2006:  Indoor Achieved an indoor personal best in the 3000M at the SoCon Championships with a time of 10:58.07, the second best time in GSU history.  Outdoor Set the Georgia Southern record in the 3000M Steeplechase with a time of 11:50.29 (SoCon Championships)...Titled twice in the Steeplechase: at Auburn (12:02.55) and at the SoCon/Big South Challenge (12:03.00)...Also entered record books with GSU’s fifth best finish in the 800M clocking in at 2:24.03 at Bagwell-Settle, also a personal outdoor best.

 

2005 Cross Country:  Was second Eagle finisher in each regular season race ... Finished 22nd overall at Gamecock Invitational (20:04.11) ... Was fifth at the Gardner-Webb Duals (16:29.00) ... Was first Eagle to cross the finish line at the NCAA Regional at 23:36.16, setting the GSU record in the 6K.

 

2004 Cross Country (Kennesaw State University):  Aided KSU in winning the Peach Belt Conference championship and placing fourth at nationals ... Named to the Peach Belt Conference honor roll ... Member of the second place Distance Medley Relay team finishing in 12:01 at the Clemson Relays...Posted a time of 20:39 for 19th place at Georgia Collegiate.

 

Prep:  Four year letter winner in track and cross country at Brookwood High ... Awarded Most Valuable Athlete her junior and senior year ... Two years all-county ... Cross country team placed no lower than fifth at state championships from 2001-2004.

 

Personal:  Born September 27, 1986 in Dayton, Ohio...The daughter of Bill and Nancy Bloom ... Majoring in Hotel Administration/Management ...
