- Was used as a two-way player, making 12 relief appearances and two starts on the mound in addition to six starts in the field
- Went 3-2 with one save and a 3.86 ERA through 30.1 innings
- Struck out 23 batters and walked just three, one of which was an intentional free pass
- Led all Blue Devil pitchers with a 7.7 strikeout-to-walk ratio and an average of 0.89 walk per nine innings
- Opened his collegiate career with a 17.2 inning scoreless streak, holding opposing teams scoreless until his seventh appearance of the year
- Batted .185 with five hits, four runs and two RBI at the plate
- Made all six starts at second base and made just one error in 36 chances
- Shut out Alabama A&M for six innings in his first career start, giving up just three hits (2/27)
- Earned his first career save against Virginia Tech after entering the game in the bottom of the ninth and getting the final out in a 7-5 win (5/17)
- Came out of the bullpen against Brown and shut down the Bears for four complete innings (3/25)

- Compiled a combined 15-3 record on the mound as a junior and a senior
- Went 7-2 with a 2.25 ERA, 50 strikeouts and just 15 walks through 60 innings as a senior
- Also batted .375 with six home runs and 55 RBI as a senior
- Posted an 8-1 record and a 2.00 ERA as a junior
- Struck out 55 batters while walking 18 through 63 innings of work
- Hit .350 with three home runs and 45 RBI in 2006
- Also lettered in basketball
- Named team MVP in 2005, averaging 10 points and five assists per game
