Located on the banks of the Connecticut River, the Friends of Dartmouth Rowing Boathouse is a classic crew facility, built in 1986. The 11,400 square foot facility was funded by many former oarsmen and women of Dartmouth and their families and friends.

Because this stretch of the Connecticut River is clean and uncluttered with speedboats, and because the self-contained college community provides an ideal site for a rigorous training discipline, the Dartmouth rowing facility has for many years hosted summer tryouts for the U.S. National and Olympic rowing teams.
