One of the unsung heroes in the trenches who paved the way for North Dakota State’s running game...First-team Associated Press All-American and All-North Central Conference at offensive guard in 1982...Three-year starter on the offensive line who helped NDSU to three conference rushing titles...The Bison never finished lower than fourth nationally in rushing during his career...Under coach Don Morton, the Bison reached the 1981 Division II title game his junior year and the national semifinals as a senior...A 1983 graduate of NDSU with a bachelor’s degree in social science education, he went on to earn a master’s degree from the College of St. Thomas in 1989...Built an extensive resume as an educator, coach and administrator at the high school and college level with stops at Cambridge (Minn.) High School; Chaska (Minn.) High School; the University of Minnesota; and Pipestone (Minn.) High School.
