Arman played two standout seasons for North Dakota State at center, averaging 14.9 points and 10 rebounds per game over a 45-game career. He earned All-North Central Conference honors in 1958 after averaging 18.2 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. He set a single-season school record in rebounding with 241 boards that year. Arman came to NDSU after playing two seasons at Bismarck (N.D.) Junior College and the U.S. Army where he was named to the All-European team in 1956.
