Bio

2009: Wesley appeared in 16 matches during the season, starting in eight of them. He took eight shots over the course of the season, with two shots coming on goal. He assisted on goal in 3-2 win against CSU Bakersfield on Nov 8.

2008: Wesley started five of the 14 matches he appeared in, finishing with three goals and one assist for seven total points. He scored the game-winning goals on back-to-back nights in Florida, as SeattleU defeated Florida Gulf Coast and Florida Atlantic by identical 2-1 scores. Wesley's goal against Florida Atlantic came in overtime. His third goal of the season came in the team's 3-2 overtime victory at Cal State Bakersfield. His assist came in the first meeting with Cal State Bakersfield at Championship Field.

2007: VanHooser appeared in 14 matches for the Redhawks, including seven starts. He scored his first collegiate goal in the 8-1 victory over Saint Martin's on Oct. 21. VanHooser was credited with 11 shots, including six shots on goal.  

2006: Redshirt season. 

Lake Stevens HS: Wesley VanHooser earned team most valuable player honors in 2004 and 2005, setting school records with 59 career goals, 39 assists and 98 total points. VanHooser was named to the first team all-league three consecutive years, and the first team all-state twice and was selected as a member of the Seattle Times all-star team. VanHooser led Lake Stevens to the school's first two state tournament appearances ever in 2004 and 2005, with a fourth place finish in the state tournament to complete his senior season.

Personal: Wesley is the youngest child of Bill and Debra VanHooser. Born November 11, 1987, he is majoring in sport and exercise science.
